Configuration and troubleshooting support for handheld devices is only available on a limited basis from the AKO/DKO Helpdesk; however, these devices may be used with your AKO/DKO email and IM service.
To configure your handheld device, you may need to refer to the device vendor’s instructions. For your convenience we are providing the following information (written specifically for the 3G version):

Your AKO/DKO mail is now configured. Click the Home button to return to the Home Screen. From the Home Screen, click the ‘Mail’ icon and select the account you just created to download your folders and email to your iPhone.
NOTE: If the mail folders in your account are still empty upon opening the Mail app, wait a minute or so for the app to connect to the servers and populate them on your phone. If the app’s connection with the mail servers happens to time out, reopen the Mail app and try connecting to the servers again. If you still cannot access your AKO mail on your iPhone, please contact gomobile.user.inquiries@us.army.mil for further assistance.
