The option to reset your password via email is only availiable once every 15 days. If you have locked out this option then you must reset your password using one of the methods described below:
Reset your password using your CAC:
You must have a CAC and be at a location with a CAC Reader to use this feature.
Click ‘I Accept’ from the AKO Homepage
Click the ‘I don’t have a CAC/PIV’ tab
Click the ‘Reset’ link above the Password box
Type in your User id or registration email address, Click Go
Click the Go button for ‘RESET Your Password Using Your CAC’
Enter in your New Password
Re-type in your new password
Click Submit
Reset your password using your Security Questions:
You may only attempt these security questions three (3) times before being locked out. The questions must be answered in the same format as they were entered, including capitalization, punctuation and spelling. Also note that these are not the same as the 15 KBA questions that you must answer when logging in with a username/password.
Reset your password using your Expired Password:
If your password has expired because it was not changed in time before the change password date, you can use this option to enter your old password and update it to a new one.
