New Account First Access

New accounts on AKO/DKO are not able to be accessed the moment that it is created. It takes approximately 20 minutes before any new account can be accessed while AKO/DKO builds your account and sets your access permissions. If you are still unable to access your account after 20 minutes please contact the service desk.

Sponsored Accounts

If you have a sponsored account you will also need to wait until your account is approved. First your sponsor must approve your account and then AKO must validate the name. Name validation typically takes only a few hours but may take up to 48 hours after the sponsor approves the account.
