OWA “Unexpected Error”

This error occurs any time the certificate validation to your computer is refreshed; typically this means any time you have removed your CAC for 15 or more minutes and then logged back in but it may occur in other situations as well. Outlook Web Access has no capability to check for a renewed certificate so you must re-validate.
The typical error process

  1. Refresh your inboxYou log back in to your computer and don’t see any new email, so you click the ‘get mail button’
  2. An unexpected error

Then you get this error and nothing works. Curses!

You must close every instance of your open browser window and open a brand new one. Every Internet Explorer window must be closed before a new one can be opened to bypass the error. You will continue to receive the error until you do this. A reboot may also be necessary if the issue persists.

Enterprise Email = scam …why spend the least amount dollars to buy a crappy system when you’ve got Microsoft, Google, Yahoo..and others…best on the planet…yet opt for the least value option. Difficult to use and a money maker for somebody.
