An error occurred during a connection to akocert.us.army.mil.
The certificate error you are experiencing indicates the DoD certificates need to be installed. Installing the DoD certificates should stop you from receiving errors like the one described. This is the result of a Microsoft Update that has changed how Internet Explorer handles Website Security.
DoD Root Certificates
The fix for this is to download the DoD Root Certificates. You can do this by going to “DoD Root Certificate” – the direct link to DoD Root Certificates is here 3.16a.
In either case you may need to extract the file on the Desktop, and then navigate to the file and right click the file, and choose the “Run as Administrator” option. I have also included the link below to more information on the DOD certificates.
